Chocolate Banana Almond Smoothie

Thick, spoonable, and naturally sweet—this smoothie tastes like a chocolate malt but stays balanced and nourishing. It’s perfect for a quick breakfast, an afternoon pick‑me‑up, or a satisfying dessert‑style sip.

Why You’ll Love It

• Dessert vibes with breakfast-level ingredients.
• Creamy texture without loads of ice cream.
• Simple, pantry‑friendly, and 5 minutes flat.

Ingredients

• 1 scoop Flowstate blend (or 1–2 tbsp, per your pack’s serving).
• 1 medium frozen banana (sliced).
• 250 ml almond milk (or milk of choice).
• 1 tbsp almond butter (or peanut/cashew).
• 1 tsp maple syrup or 1 date (optional, to taste).
• 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional).
• 3–4 ice cubes for extra chill (optional).
• Pinch of sea salt (optional).

Method

Step 1 — Blend

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again.

Step 2 — Taste & Adjust

Adjust sweetness, salt, or thickness. Add a splash more milk to thin, or an extra ice cube for thickness.

Step 3 — Serve

Pour into a chilled glass. Finish with a dusting of Flowstate blend or a few cacao nibs on top.

Make It Yours

• Protein boost: Add a scoop of your favourite vanilla or chocolate protein.
• Gut‑friendly twist: Blend in a spoon of plain yoghurt or kefir.
• Nut‑free: Swap almond milk/butter for oat milk and sunflower seed butter.
• Extra‑chocolatey: Add 1 tsp unsweetened cacao powder.

Serving & Tips

• For a soft-serve finish, reduce milk slightly and blend longer with ice.
• If using a fresh (not frozen) banana, add more ice and reduce milk to keep it thick.
• Garnish with sliced almonds or a drizzle of nut butter for visual WOW.
